Yea that's what I thought too. Dammit!! It would be sweet if I can put blue or white light in there.

since you are itching to mod, why not mod the blind spot indicator and move it inside or compliment it by having another one inside. Make it less distracting but useful at the same time....maybe flush the lights in a vent so you'll get ambient light...

besides, that..I don't think the side marker look bad.
