Ehhhh. Could have chosen better wheels. Otherwise it's cool. Like that Lexus did a pace car. Helps emphasize their commitment to performance.

As much as I like to see the GS used by Lexus for this race, I think the more appropriate car is the RCF.

I think this pace car has been around for a couple years though and the RCF just made its debut last year.. It will likley be the next pace car they build..

They used the Camry as the pace car for Nascar I think.

Yep!

Since there is a "Camry" bodied race car also on the track, they really shoot to make that correlation to the factory cars to entice the fans to watch cars they can "relate to"... even though there is nothing Camry about the car under the skin!!

But then the pace car is the real deal, pure Toyota Camry, and it looks pretty darn cool too!!
