Yep it can be done! You just need to know what you want and be presistent. I have been offered jobs too, will never again work for a dealer!

In my area the Lexus offered lease deal is $449/month, 36 months, 10K miles per year, $1999 down payment plus tax, title, and license. Also, Lexus makes the 1st month's payment. To get that deal all you need is a credit score of 720 or higher. I put $0 down and walked out at $470/month on a 2015 AWD F-Sport with an MSRP of $58135. There was no trade involved.

Ok say you live in NY tax is 8%, on a $58,000 its around $4600, half is say $2300

$2300+$1999= $4300 which is about $120

So $449+$120 = $560 great deal! Not

FastTags, I am not understanding what you are saying. I essentially negotiated the elimination of the down payment. Where I live I only pay tax on the amount of the lease payments which came up to just a hair under $1000. Title and license were $108. Everything was rolled into the lease. I also negotiated in the Digi-Shield for the hood and some WeatherTech DigiFit floor liners.

Every state is different, so even if you paid $900, still $900+$1999=2,899

Which is around $80

So, $449 +80= $529.

The deal you posted is not very good because some state will requre higher tax rate and some will Pay the full amount on the price. The deal you got is very good indeed, i just thought that you took that deal and ended up payong $470 with nothing down.which is not the same as the ad

Regardless of payments Selling price, MF is what determinena fiod deal from the bad. Just saying

I did get a very good deal; there is no question about it. I definitely negotiated every single last dollar; I would never purchase or lease a vehicle without doing so. I also would not live in a state that charges sales tax for the full MSRP of a vehicle on a lease; or I would simply not lease a car if I did live in such a place. I liken this to the fact that I would never live in a place that required paying large sums of real-estate taxes. That is just a personal choice I've made in terms of managing my money.

Car salesmen's jobs are to take our money. Our jobs are to make sure they do not take more money than they deserve. It is that simple. I don't need a Lexus; once the salesman knows that simple fact everything becomes much easier to negotiate.

You did not say anything about negotiations, you said that the dealer has agood deal and that you impied as if you took that deal, that you out down 0 and walked out with $470/m. Well if use that deal from above the payments would change about $80 more, ao it would $449+80= $530, you actually negotiated down, that why your Paymnets are less! $470 not $530. Jist saying.

Another thing, because in your state the sales tax are only on the financed amount you will not be able to get the same deal in other states!

Great price on the gs. Just sent this thread to my friend and now he is looking to pick up a white fsport. This is a whole lot of car for the money.

Hello,

I work at JM Lexus and I'll be more than happy to help you buy the car you want. Yes the $1800 is a cash back that goes towards your lease making your payment lower.

Yes, you can trade your car and get cash back.

The only thing I would say to watch out for is the disposition fee, which if you decide to lease another brand, Lexus will charge you $350 disposition fee and fees if you don't have the books or the second key. Other than that, we can accommodate certain charges like overage on miles. Which GS color are you looking for? And where are you located?
