Help on gs f sport tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GaryP123 is lucky just to find Pilot A/S 3. I couldn't find any for my base 2013 GS (18" wheels).
I ended up with Pilot Super Sport (which I was able to get in 235/45R18). At first these seemed like a great compromise of soft/firm, but after some break-in I'm still not happy. They have a bouncy quality, and I still feel every slight bump in the road (as noted by Shurik74 above).
I think I'd rather choose between maximum comfort (e.g. Michelin Primacy MXM4) or precise road feel & handling (e.g. OEM Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050); instead of some strange combination of the two extremes.

Pilot Sport tires aren't designed for long wear, they're designed for warm weather performance. The GSF and RC-F have tire disclaimers saying their Pilot Sport tires may not survive 15k.

I replaced the Dunlops with 245 and 275 Michelin A/S3s to keep the same relative "stagger" front-to-rear (each end of the car is one size up). No issues at all. Love them after 8k.
I have the Michelin SS on my C5 Z06 and really like them. But the Lexus is not a sports car so IMHO the A/S3 is a better choice

I will be looking to replace my F Sport RWD staggered setup in the coming months. What size options do I have front and rear? after looking at Tire Rack, it seems like the OEMs or Michelin SS are the only options??
Ive read some have tried other sizes, what sizes are considered safe and will not cause any harm?
I have a winter set of tires/wheels, so summer only will be just fine although the Michelin SS seem a bit too extreme, something with a bit more longevity would be appreciated!
Thanks,

I had the Pilot SS on my BMW E60 and they were FANTASTIC! I didn't get long life out of them due to staggered fitment, but they rode very comfortably. I have the PS A/S3 on my AWG F Sport now ( which are WAY better than the Bridgestone Potenza OEM crap) and already wish I had got the SS. I wanted to avoid buying another set of wheels for snows, but can already see I will down the road It all depend on how hard you drive. I am very agressive and miss the extra traction and steering feel of the SS. They were quiet, smooth, and stuck great in wet or dry
