Default How to remove Apps on the GS

I cancelled all the lexus enform subscriptions, but whenever I press "MODE" on the steering wheel to change from bluetooth to FM or SAT the Pandora/slacker/ and few others show up as well. Any way to remove them?

Did you delete the enform app off of your phone? All of those run through your phone data plan.

Enform apps on the car is free...so there's nothing to cancel. The apps are basically another source of audio so they cannot be deleted.

I just tried turning my phone off and it still cycles through it. I heart radio is the only one though, I never signed up for anything else. Only advice I can offer is use the radio/media buttons on the head unit instead.

I don't think its free because when I press MODE and when I land on pandora for example it says I need subscription...

It use to require a subscription when it first came out, but it is complementary now. Below is from the Lexus Enform website:

Enform Apps is free. Trying to remove the Pandora and Slacker icons is like trying to remove AM radio icon; it's an audio source, so it stays.

I saw that on the lexus secure driver as well. Hmm interesting because I don't recall seeing Pandora/Slacker when I first got the car. Might ask a Lexus technology expert at dealer tomorrow.

I wonder if remote start ( phone and key fob((standard on 2015)) will also go away when subscription trial ends

They will go away because the system uses satellites to tell the car what to do, therefore the subscription renews the data connection needed to send info to and from the car.

Why would remote start with the key fob go away? According to the web site, it is a standard feature of the 2015 GS. However, the silence in the manual and from the Lexus Customer Service people in this forum indicates that this must be some sort of Easter egg feature.

It means you need a Pandora log in. Not an Enform subscription. Open the Enform app and sign in with a Pandora acct on your phone. Pandora in your car is going through the app. It is just Bluetooth audio of Pandora radio from your phone to the headunit.
