Default Best Deal 2014 GS350 Vs 2013 GS350 Considering options (might help others)

I am getting to become and expert on price. I also don't know it all still. The 2014 has 8 speed transmission instead of the 6 speed, auto folding side mirrors and some firmware updates from what I have read. What I don't know is about buying cars new and how much of a discount you get. That is a big factor.

Here are 2 cars to consider. I see a 2014 Lexus GS 350 Fsport Nebula Grey with Red interior with 7K miles for $41,900 (without negotiation). This contains the F-sport Package, Blind spot monitoring, Park assist, Nav, Perfered package so it has $8,953 worth of options and MSRP of $57,563. The car was sold 2/14.

The other car in consideration is a 2013 Lexus GS 350 Meteor blue with flaxen interior with 21K miles CPO for $37,500. (after negotiation). This contains the luxary package, blind spot, HUD, Mark Levingson, Park assist, Nav, remote engine start and so $11,300 worth of options. MSRP unknown but around $59,500. The car was sold 5/12.

To get a warranty on the 2014 car and make it a 6 year 100K warranty it cost $1300-$1600 (I forgot the exact price). Which of these deals is the best deal? I want a loaded car. Mark Levingson would be nice but not a must neither is the HUD. Neither car has been in a wreck and has perfect autocheck score.

Here are a few questions I have.

#1 Is the 2014 Deal a regular price (expect to see it all the time). How much approx. did the person buy it new if it was $57,563? Maybe $53,000 if they were lucky? I doubt they got it for $49K.

#2 When the 2016's hit the lot, will both the 2013's and the 2014's all immediately drop in price or it won't effect it much at all.

#3 How do you calculate mileage? For example every 10K more miles driven or 10K miles under driven = $1000 more the car is worth or what is the ball park figure?

#4 If a car has been in a minor accident. LIke if you see an autocheck that says accident minor damage reported. How much does that devalue a car? (I am looking at a 2014 acura RLX advanced with 6K miles on that one). For example if you see other cars with no damage selling for $39K with the same miles without the accident, how much approx. would it devalue the car?

#5 When does a car take a depreciation hit? Is it when the car hits 1 year older from when it was sold? Does it just drop a little bit here and there each month? Jan 1st each year? When there is a new model year that hits the showroom? or what?

I think several other people are debating on weather to get a 2013 or a newer 2014 so there are things to consider. I know 2013 pricing but I have no clue on the 14 pricing.
