Congrats on your luxury ride ...the seatings look so comfortable and I really like the wood sections on the steering wheel.

Looking good, Steve. Got a couple of questions:
1. While viewing on Lexus.com, I see triple light on all models. Is it an option? If so, how much they want?
2. Did you test drive one with 19"? 18" looks a bit small for a car this big. How do the rides compare?
Thanks.

The HID lights which I have are standard, the LEDs are optional. That option is like $1,200 and it's usually packaged with stuff like ML, 18 inch wheels, semi-aniline leather and alcantara headliner. So a car with the LEDs will sticker around 82-83k.

One of my complaints is those HID lights. They're not nearly as bright as the HIDs on the GS. I'm going to have them adjust them when I take it back in for the radio, but I may try and upgrade them to some Osram CBI bulbs or something. LED fogs are very bright.

I did drive it with the 19s, they make expansion joints and stuff a little sharper and road noise a little more audible (there basically is none on my car even with the terrible Bridgestone tires). The 19s are either 1050 or 1150 depending on the design, and I agree they look better. What I wanted more than anything out of the LS though is the great and silent ride, so I decided to go with the 18s.

That looks to be the tennis courts at Lakelands Park Middle School.

It's misleading to call the 2015 Lexus LS 460 a car, or even a luxury sedan.

Needs a new radio which I'm not thrilled about. Part is on order so the nav is still half working, I'm sure it will be fine
What happened with the head unit?

The nav/infotainment is crashing and lagging. It will freeze up and take 2-3 minutes to answer a command, won't let you input a destination, come on and stay black. A warning comes up and says that there was an error reading the SD card sometimes.

I'm wondering if maybe the SD card is bad...I would assume they tried that but maybe not.

I'm a bit surprised that the Lexus technician didn't catch this problem with the NAV/Infotainment system when he checked out the entire car before making it available for sale, or delivery. But, maybe that is asking too much when some let customers of new cars drive away with 50 psi tire pressure.

Thanks guys!

It didn't start acting up until partway through the first day, that's why they didn't catch it. When I was there it was working fine.

they really low balled you on your GS trade in, they gave me 38k for mine just 2 months ago and it didnt have any options. No nav, no sensors or anything, just a back up cam. Yours was the luxury package.
