I've tried to give it a boost from the other car. Nothing. Completely unresponsive. I have no idea what can be. I called Lexus Roadside, but probably because is weekend, the wait time is about 5 hours. Nice isn't it? I will have it towed to the dealer tomorrow.

No, I haven't used the car for one day. So, must be something else.

Sorry to hear about your situation EP101. I hope they are able to diagnose the root cause of problem for you quickly. In the meantime, enjoy that loaner! Your car is under factory warranty I assume? Please keep us updated on what they say.

All the best,

I've left my car untouched for 8 full days and thought it would be dead when I come back but it fired up like a Boss. Kinda surprised, it must've been waiting to be driven hard by the owner.

Not yet. I am still waiting for towing. Unbelievable. Probably I was better off to pay from my own pocket for the towing than to have roadside assistance take care of it.

I am guessing battery, it's not uncommon, and sometimes the battery is so dead that jumping is not enough...I would just replace the battery first before I let them tow the car

I have had a similar issuea few times on different vehicles, when i get corrosion between the battery terminal and the terminal. Remove the terminal, clean the connection, add dielectric grease and re install.

I got the car back. I was told, the battery was the problem; rare but not extremely uncommon to get a bad one from time to time. In my case this is the very first time.
They replace the battery; problem solved. Maybe it was only a bad battery. Time will tell.
