It is a triple decker with retail boutiques onsite.

That really sucks for the OP - as others stated though, it's very dealer specific, but I appreciate you passing this info along. Maybe you could try to get service done at another nearby dealership (if the loaner matters to you that much)?

Btw, that's one beautiful dealership you posted kmm! Probably the best Lexus dealership I've came across.

Aha, now it makes sense. Pretty clever to jam all that stuff together, bet it was a big "meeting of the money" to make that development happen.

That would be nice as long as the other merchants (restaurant, retail shops, etc.) all remain popular, with strong credentials and business climates where none of them ever drags down Lexus, which is the main tenant in the development. That said, there is something very secure about having the dealership as a stand-alone business on 28 acres like Park Place Lexus in Plano, TX. If I owned a large car dealership like Lexus I personally would not want to have other businesses occupying the same building facilities.

I think it's brilliant. The car is just another "thing" in our lives. To a lot of people today, cars are status symbols, not just transportation. People who buy new Lexus' can buy almost any car so the experience has to be great. I bet their service department is busier too because people can enjoy themselves more while waiting. A lot of dealers have massages, full blown restaurants and other amenities. Selling a car is a business to the dealers, but it's just a shopping experience to buyers. It's all about the lifestyle.

Sorry-didn't intend to hijack the thread...

Just saying that my service experience has been great so far.
