Thanks for the info provided in this thread!

I’m looking to make the move to Lexus soon. I’ll probably pick up a 4th Gen GS. This thread has been very useful.

I do have a couple questions for anyone reading this that has the PCS and FKA options on their 4G GS350, especially the ’14 and ’15 models:

  1. Is the only way to tell that a GS has both the PCS and FKA option is by looking at the steering wheel, and box above the steering column (as noted in the pictures)? I’ve probably looks at close to 100 used GS’s in my area (both F and non-F types) and I’ve only come across one that has these options (and it was a 2013 non-F). Can anyone comment to if they have these options and the steering wheel doesn’t have these buttons?

  2. I’m assuming that these options are separate, correct? Any picture I see online (and the one used car I came across) has both buttons. Wasn’t sure if it was possible for a GS to only have one of these options and not the other.

I appreciate anyone’s help with this. My take is that these are rare to find. However, that is hard to believe as I would think more people would purchase this car with at least the adaptive/radar cruise control option. I have a similar system on my 2006 Infiniti M35, so it would be difficult to purchase a vehicle 10 years newer that didn’t have this feature. Thanks again for reading!

Perhaps it will vary by region, but around me (PNW), finding a '13-'15 GS with PCS and LKA is a very difficult chore. That has changed drastically for the '16s. I have PCS/radar cruise on my RX but not on my GS.

THANK YOU. I started looking at the GS350 this week (2013 or 2014) and this thread is great.

The 2014 can be had for under $40k with low miles and good options. Is there a feature/option on the 2015 that should make me consider it?
Do I REALLY need to purchase a CPO car? If I don't, thoughts about extended warranties (I'm normally against them)?

AVS come with the F Sport and the Luxury packages. If you have one of those, you have AVS. You would also know by the presence of a "Sport S+" position on your drive mode selector, in addition to Eco, normal, and Sport positions.

Guys I have a Premium Package GS350 (which I assume is base). Since all of my other cars are pretty loaded with features I miss them on my GS. Does anyone here have a Premium GS? As I feel that I am the only one with it lol.

The Premium Package 'PM' for the 2013 GS 350 was $1,400.00 MSRP and included the following:
Rain-Sensing Wipers
Heated/Ventilated Front Seats
Power Rear Sunshade

I purchased a 2014 gs350 with about 25k miles a few months ago for really cheap and after looking at this thread, it seems that my car is the base model of all base models as it has none of those buttons!! I guess that's why I was able to get it for so cheap. Haha. At least I won't have to worry about any electrical gadget problems, haha.

Base or no base you're still getting a lot of car for the money. Please feel free to PM if you may have any questions.

Sorry to bump the thread but how is the rear dash window sun visor taped down? I tried to put it up and it is only clicking. The salesman said there is some kind of tape holding it and must be removed but I do not want to make another trip out to the dealer unless I have to. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know for sure if there is tape, but mine was a little sticky at the start, and I think I needed to jar it loose the first time or two. Works fine now.

This is a wonderful thread and many thanks for the trouble putting this together. I am in the market to replace my aging LS430 2003 with 251K miles with a 2013 GS350. This thread has provided me with a wealth of information on what to look for identifying the options. Well done again.
