in my area (south Florida) the ES is the most popular Lexus on the road. My dealership "JM LEXUS" has tons of GS's on hand, FWIW?

Let's not forget that the GS F-Sport out handles and I believe out brakes the 5 series M-Sport.
The only thing the Germans have over the GS is brand recognition and engine choices. BMW has a better warranty as well.

I sympathize. I was looking into buying a used 3GS but based on various reports including Consumer Reports reliability was not up to what we expect from Lexus. Especially the 2006 where there were many problems with the AWD. Thus I bought a new '14 GS.

I had a 2000 GS and had basically 200K trouble free expect for a few problems like a sticky hood release cable, door lock actuator and an auto-up window switch. Engine and Transmission was still good. Before that I had 2 '94 Toyotas, a 275K Camry and a Celica with 200K now still on the road with my nephew.

And those are only the cars you see that have been posted on the website. There's usually many more that are constantly coming in and get sold before they're listed.

True. When the RC launched, they had a big party at Park Place, and I was talking to this rich old timer about his cars. He paid cash for both of them, a 2014 GS and a 2014 LS. Guys like him are not rare around here, and their cars never hit website inventory. Their cars are basically unloaded from the docks and dropped off at their front door. Texas is a big territory for Lexus. I think SoCal may be as big or bigger, volume-wise, but California gets insanely cheap deals too.
