They actually were the Primacy MXM4. I took a look at my maintenance records for the TL (my daughter drives it now) and found the original tires were the Pilot, but not the MXM4 series.

I thought the Pilot was the performance while the Primacy was the touring tire. The GS is new, so I won't have to do any tire shopping for awhile!

It was a great transition for me from the TL to the GS. The GS just "fits" me better as far as driving and luxury options. How was the transition from a GS to a LS?

There are different tread patterns of the Primacy MXM4 between Honda and Toyota, but I can't believe the difference would be that apparent.

Good, I miss some of the nimbleness and the seats of the GS, but otherwise the LS is more suited to me personally...I love the incredibly smooth and quiet ride.

All this talk of tires making the difference had me call the dealer, the F sport I drove has Michelin MXM4's
and the tire pressure indicator read 38 psi

Definitely don't get one with crappy Dunlops. Cant' say much good about them. Looking forward to getting the Michelins in the fall for the winter.

Saw this beauty () earlier today. Graphite finish looks nice. Which model year is this? Or maybe they were added on after.

The 9 spoke split 18" alloy wheels means its the luxury model from either 2012 or 2013.
In 2014 and 2015, the luxuries got the silver version of the 5 spoke split 19" alloys from the F Sport like the silver GS photographed below.

I doubt it's a 13. 13 doesn't come with power folding mirror. It's unlikely this guy (judging from his personalized plate) changed to the power folding mirrors. Plus his car is more shiny than mine sonit has to be later than 13. But if he manually closes them after parked, then you may be right.

Wow - a bit of a mystery?
9 spoke split 19" alloys indicate 12/13.
Folding mirrors indicate 14 onwards.

Unless Lexus changed to the silver finished 5 spoke split 19" alloys midway through 2014?
Such that this example was purchased in the first half of 2014, so it only got the power folding mirrors, but it missed out on the 5 spoke split 19" alloys?

In other words, maybe Lexus added the power folding mirrors to the 4GS, before they added the 5 spoke split 19" alloys, rather than adding both features simultaneously?
