Hi Guys, I recently started noticing that when I make a call with my phone connected via bluetooth, the phone number and/or name of person calling no longer shows up on the infotainment screen.. now it just shows as "private call" ... any idea why this is happening all of a sudden? It was working fine until recently.. how do I fix it?

Are you placing the call from your phone itself or the car's system? Mine (both the GS and now the LS) do that if I place a call from the phone itself vs through the cars system.

actually yes I believe I have been making these calls directly from the phone.. I've never noticed "private caller" before.. this is normal??

As Steve mentioned - if you use the car's Phone Book to make a call it will display the name as you entered it into your car's Phone Book. However, if you place the call directly from your phone (even though it is being 'handled' via your car's Bluetooth) the call will not be identified as a Phone Book listing and it will just say 'Private Call'.

Yep, normal. You just didn't notice it before. Make a call through the system and you will see it will show the caller ID info.
