Black with Flaxen interior seems like will be a lot of work to keep clean in/out. Black exterior shows swirl marks and dirt easily. Flaxen interior will show scuff marks / stain easily as well. Not a fan of that combo. I'm sure it looks nice in person but will require too much effort to keep clean.
Both options from the OP look good to me. I would be happy with either if it had the options I wanted.

I have obsidian / cabernet, and the cabernet driver's seat is kinda discolored thanks to indigo jeans that rub off on anything. I literally get blue fingernails from reaching in the pockets. However, Lexus leather has a urethane protectant coat and after a rag with a tiny bit of mild soap and water, it looks as good as new.
With that in mind, if you don't wear a lot of blue jeans or other fabrics that transfer color easily, Flaxen isn't a bad choice and I think it works best as a contrast to dark colors.
