I have a Luxury Obsidian with Flaxen. It is a little more work to keep clean, but worth the effort.

Both options from the OP look good to me. I would be happy with either if it had the options I wanted.

Obsidian & Cabernet (Just like it says in my sig!)

Don't listen to the lazy people whining about upkeep on a black car. Its not as bad as they say it is.

I have obsidian / cabernet, and the cabernet driver's seat is kinda discolored thanks to indigo jeans that rub off on anything. I literally get blue fingernails from reaching in the pockets. However, Lexus leather has a urethane protectant coat and after a rag with a tiny bit of mild soap and water, it looks as good as new.

With that in mind, if you don't wear a lot of blue jeans or other fabrics that transfer color easily, Flaxen isn't a bad choice and I think it works best as a contrast to dark colors.

Any color other then black have to be taken care of no matter what! Most of the cars I had were in black interior, my previous acura with umber & current lexus with cabernet, I use leatherique product that work very good for me...

I bought a set of Lexol cleaner/protector before I learned about the urethane coating. So basically it has a very thin layer of skateboard wheel material over the leather. All of a sudden cleaning products don't matter. Wet rag is good enough.

I think Flaxen looks great with the Lux package. Flaxen with the aluminum trim...not so much.
