Recommend some tires for wife's GS350?

The once or twice I did, they held steady more or less, but did start to slide a little.
They didn't actually feel "soft", but I think their ultimate grip may be less than some other tires including my previous primacy mxv4.
Ultimately over the years, I've found that every tire is a compromise somewhat.
It just comes down to what compromises you can live with.
As I said, the p7's are super quiet and smooth...better than the Michelin's for sure.

Just got a '13 awd for the wife. It has Dunlops on it currently but will be needing tires in the not too distant future. Dave, how many miles on the wifes car??
Or better asked, how many miles are folks getting out of a set of Michelins??

I agree with your statement that every tire is a slight comprise in one form or another. We just have to figure out what's most important to us.

Looks like I need to swap out my Dunlop SportMaxx after just under 15k miles - grr.
I went in to get pricing on Michelins, but the discounttire guy suggested Continental Control Contact Sport - he said these were just as good when it came to ride quality and handling - indicates a slightly better speed rating too.
Has anyone here used these tires (235/45/18) "Continental ControlContact Sport AS"

OP - Discount Tire is recommending the Michelin Premier A/S 245/45R18 to replace the OE 235/45R18. The new Michelin Premier A/S tire is #1 Rated and comes with a 60,000 warranty. The difference between the OE size and the slightly larger Premier is of no consequence.

Discount Tire offers a $70 prepaid VISA card on a regular basis for 7-10 days most months for people buying four tires. If the drastically lower cost of oil remains I suspect the price of tires will likely drop in the months ahead.
I'll be ready for a new set of tires in a few months myself. I have a couple friends that have the new Michelin Premier A/S, which is replacing the Primacy, and they like them even better. So, I'll definitely go with the new Michelin Premier A/S in one size larger (245/45R18) than OE when the time comes.
