I really hope so for the price. I still have the runflats that came with the car and hate the ride. They still have 60-70% tread but just got tired of them. Really hoping these brake pads reduce the dust and can still stop the beast!

The GS comes with runflats? Dont remember seeing that option

And of course how could I forget about the Akebonos, I purchased these for my IS and the brake dust was significantly reduced. For example if I didnt wash the car for 2 weeks with the oem pads the front wheels would be super dusty, with the akebonos you could last 4 weeks and it still wouldnt look as bad as the 2 weeks with oem.

Hey Tony where did you get the pads and how much they run you?

hope this helps

I don't think mine came with runflat tires but it does cost over $400 a piece to replace these Bridgestones.

I ordered it all off of tirerack.com. Always had great service from tirerack and fast shipping.

Quite surprising to read they factory pads are dusty. Surely they would have avoided that from new??

Or you can do the entire car (glass, paint, wheels, headlights) with C1 and then EXOV2. Lasts 12 to 18 months. Literally, bugs and tar rinse off, it amazed me. Also will keep the headlights from hazing over time. Did my car last April, still as smooth as silk. Will redo this fall.

C1 and EXOV2 on the wheels works as well or better than C5. Clay bar the body to make sure everything is clean (if not perfectly smooth)

Important: Follow the instructions. Which means use the panel wipe and to make it easier order the larger applicators. It was a pain applying C1 with these small makeup pads applicators. Also order the 50ml of C1 for first coat which takes more product. 30ml EXOV2 should do since it goes further over C1. A few drops will do the hood/bonnet. Also, no need to EXOv2 frontside windows, if you have cold weather package (which have Teflon coating on them).
Not sure if we're using the same product. I have a C1 V3 that I used on paint and glass. I read your post and wondered why I didn't give it a try. The wheels are painted anyway. It amazed me. The wheels no longer attract dust as much. Thanks for the post.

I'm starting to see the dusting problem and I only had the car for a week! =(
How do we avoid this issue?

You replace the brake pads with a ceramic pad

BMW appears to have made a shift in material because my 2015 F10 does not have this problem. Must be a recent change. But yeah, BMWs were notorious for heavy brake dust.
