I can blackout my front wheels just by driving around for 15 minutes. No need to plastidip the wheels.

I wouldn't change the pads. Any aftermarket pad is probably running a similar compound that can dust even worst. leave the no dusting brake pads for non performance cars. It's an F-sport with big brakes, its just part of the package. You should see the wheels after a canyon run! I need to get them clean before they cake on even worst. Don't ignore it because once its caked on it hard to get off without some serious elbow grease. Also waxing your wheels with a high quality wax helps cleaning the dust off easier.

Just had my car serviced and complained about the brake dust. Per the service adviser, seems Lexus may be working getting these fixed. Not sure how soon though. Also, I heard a lot of people on this forum to be changing out the pads to the Akebono Ceramic pads.

I keep saying it, for anyone who will listen....
A few cars ago I had a 2007 tl type s with the brembo brakes....dusting was ridiculous...when I replaced the pads, I used autozone cmax gold which is their best high performance pad and its ceramic...almost zero dusting, quiet and no noticible performance loss...
I currently have 4k miles on my f sport, and as soon as it gets a little cooler here in Dallas I will be replacing the pads with the cmax gold.

I can feel your pain now. This is a lot more than my Luxury. I swear I read it here. Someone replaced his pads with aftermarket ones and it reduced the dust significantly. Can't remember who now

Been driving the CT for a few days and the regenerative braking feels weird and stopping power is not as smooth as my GS but that thing is dust free.
I'll be taking my GS out for a spin to work tomorrow, I miss it. I don't know why when going back to the GS after driving other cars feels so rewarding. I always feel like a little kid with a new toy.

Apply GTechniq C5 Wheel Armor. Dust hoses right off.
Or you can do the entire car (glass, paint, wheels, headlights) with C1 and then EXOV2. Lasts 12 to 18 months. Literally, bugs and tar rinse off, it amazed me. Also will keep the headlights from hazing over time. Did my car last April, still as smooth as silk. Will redo this fall.
C1 and EXOV2 on the wheels works as well or better than C5. Clay bar the body to make sure everything is clean (if not perfectly smooth)
Important: Follow the instructions. Which means use the panel wipe and to make it easier order the larger applicators. It was a pain applying C1 with these small makeup pads applicators. Also order the 50ml of C1 for first coat which takes more product. 30ml EXOV2 should do since it goes further over C1. A few drops will do the hood/bonnet. Also, no need to EXOv2 frontside windows, if you have cold weather package (which have Teflon coating on them).

So it's either a hardcore wax job on each wheel or ceramic pads. I had the same dusting issue on my G35 until I switched to Hawk ceramics. Too bad Hawk doesn't make pads for this car.
