Yea u only need the tube. Maybe the FSport one can give u a boost to 500 HP.

If I replace it with the one from the 3GS, I will keep the original and put it back on when I take the car in for service.

And no need to keep swapping when going to the dealer, they don't care unless ur going in for a warranty repair that involves the intake.

This is better, thanks. What about the 3GS one? Is it still available on the market?

No reason to swap it every time you take the car in for service. Odds are they won't even notice, and even if they did why would they care?
