The Altezza tail lights killed it.

At least the grill is not as ridiculous as the non-F-sport. I think new the non-F-sport is worst than the present one, but the new F-sport is better than the present one.
Do you think Lexus is delaying/hiding the 2016 facelift because there are still so many 2015 at dealerships? (At least there is a lot in my area.)
When do we expect to see the 2016s in the showroom? I need a better discount on a 2015.

I think this time the GS has lost the Lexus Luxury/Classy, timeless design. The current 4GS has that timeless design that will still look good years from now. This new styling is more on the cheaper Toyota/Honda side now. I don't know, I just don't feel this 4.5GS design deserve a Lexus badge.
I might still get one when my lease is up and if they haven't come up with a 5GS and if the lease is dirt cheap, but if not I'll make the jump to an LS.

A front plate on that thing will look horrible! Sucks for us Cali owners.

FINALLY! Refresh 2016 GS pics
We've seen the front plate on plenty of full spindle cars, it looks fine.

They went with the CT and RC style now, simply swap the grille and black out some parts of the bumper to differentiate between the FSport and non FSport instead of designing 2 different bumpers. Lazy.

I find the front end to be a nice improvement over the current GS, but I'm really struggling with the tail lights. Definitely going to have to see it in person before I decide.

You know... they need room for improvement. Now I feel better. Happy with my 15 Looking forward to 5GS! Like the front but not the b*tt

Glad to see Ultra Sonic Blue 2.0 is being offered.
I'm disappointed to see no Premium L-shaped Triple-beam headlights on the non-F models for US-spec cars. It seems like they are going the US-spec RC route of only offering the fancy lights for the RCF. Hopefully this changes when the car is officially released. I also hope they put the F/IS and RC F-sport gauges for the GS F-sport.

As a previous owner of a 2012 IS 250 and new owner of a 2015 GS 350 (my dream car), I do like the looks of the 2016. Lets call it what it is, just a little freshening up of the Gen4. The dash looks good and in the right color combo, I think the front and rear it will look fine. Yes, we could all buy the Beemers and Benzs but lets remember why we bought a Lexus, it leaves those other cars in the dust for reliability and value. BMW offers so many different variations of its lines that it is hard to keep up with. The other thing is a BMW and Benz are nice but when the warranty is out, time to trade it in!!!!!!!!! Lexus just run like a Singer sewing machine or, yes a Honda, lol. I for one will be getting a 2016 in 2 to 3 years when my lease is up .As far as a family sedan as one said, I say a 50-60,0000 dollar price tag is a bit steep for a "family sedan". I don't think the IS look would go with the GS line to well, the GS is really not a "sports sedan" per say. Now the GS F, that maybe a sports sedan.... The GS looks good and the look will grow on many specially as BMW and Benz's and Audi's price go up.

The refreshed F Sport looks better thanks to the zig zag mesh grill, and the new 19" alloy wheels, though I still prefer the old 19" alloy wheel style, to the new 19" alloys.
The refreshed non-F Sport doesn't seem to look as good due to the new rather cheap plasticky grill, and the use of the old 9 split spoke 18" alloy wheels.
The new design has only the one bumper cover, used by both F Sport, and non-F Sport.
