I don't see how someone can think that a 13-15 F Sport looks good and a Base/Luxury "looks hideous". They aren't that different.

The F Sport is in fact currently shared with a lower tiered version of the car, the GS350. The GS450h is the top tier of the GS line.
The GS450h however is not a gasoline only variant model. Therefore, the GS350 is actually the top of line gasoline only model with the GS200t seated below it. Furthermore, outside of the implemented hybrid technology, the GS450h & GS350 both actually share the exact same engines. Don't know why this is so hard to comprehend.

You're really reaching here. By your logic the GS200t is the top of the line turbo model and shouldn't be compared to the 350 because it has a different style of engine.

The GS450h is the most expensive model, and has the most available features, its the top of the line GS regardless of what sort of engine it has. Thats like me saying that an $120k LS600hL is not a superior trim level than my LS460 because its a hybrid powertrain.

My advice would be to not worry about different trim levels and what with your model is "shared" with a lower trim level. Buy the model that suits you and enjoy it.

We're not discussing logic, but facts. Again both the GS350 & GS200t are gas only engines while the GS450h is not, point blank. So while we can obviously evaluate differences between models, the GS450h & GS350 aren't really comparable. One has hybrid technology with a CVT transmission & the other is a normally aspirated V6 & with an automatic transmission. And the LS600hl fits the same narrative here also when viewed against the LS460.

Furthermore, the GS450h, which outside of the hybrid tech, CVT transmission & bamboo wood, has no other exclusive or significant features over the regular GS350.

And the GS200t is not a naturally aspirated engine. Why is the addition of hybrid technology different than the addition of a turbocharger?

If you really need to work that hard to convince yourself you have the top of the line GS, go right ahead lol.

The hybrid GS has more power, exclusive trim, LED headlamps, etc. it's the top of the line GS. The LS600hL has more power, special trim, it's the most expensive. It's the top of the line LS. Bottom line.

Actually, there isn't any other "special trim" for the GS450h models & even though it has more power, it's also heavier & slower performance wise than the GS350. And the regular GS350 has unique features as well that aren't available on the GS450h such as optional 18 way power front seats (only 10-way power driver and front passenger seats are available on GS450h models with no option for 18 way power seats for 2015) plus the GS350 has more additional wood & interior color choices as well.

Furthermore, I think I've already made it perfectly clear in previous posts that even though all 3 engines on the GS are different, the GS450 hybrid is a specialized model with a CVT transmission that isn't a gas only engine which totally separates it from legitimate GS350 or GS200t comparisons, so repeating the same sentiment over & over again isn't going to change this clear truth.

The most expensive car is the top of the line. Once the GS-F comes out that will be it.

Definition of top of the line:

being or belonging to the highest or most expensive class
Your GS350 is not the top of the line GS. Pretending it is or coming up with some rationale as to why it is doesn't make it so.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the GS-F is the premier GS, however it's not available for sale yet, so for all intents & purposes, currently the GS350 is still the top naturally aspirated engined GS model Lexus has for purchase in it's lineup to date, so don't try to change the narrative because you've been proven erroneous & incorrect in your statements as we are/were clearly & strictly discussing F-Sport optioned vehicles only.

And it's funny that you also left off a portion of the actual definition you took directly from
Merriam-Webster, so let me add it here for you as top of the line doesn't denote something just based on price or cost alone.

Definition of top of the line:

Merriam-Webster Dictionary

top–of–the–line
adjective

: of the best quality

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dicti...op-of-the-line

Collins Dictionary

top–of–the–line
adjective

denoting the best available

http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dic...op-of-the-line

Oxford Dictionaries

top-line
adjective

Of the highest quality or ranking

http://www.oxforddictionaries.com

Again, the original debate in particular is the F-Sport GS450h vs F-Sport GS350 packages which aren't equivalent models thus the
GS350 F-Sport is the "top of the line" gas engine only F-Sport variant, period!

Not sure about all the confusion.

For 2015 - GS350 is the base car with GS450h as the higher performance model.

For 2016 - GS200t is the base car with GS F as the higher performance model and GS350 as the volume model. GS450h nobody cares about it and will be special order.....

Bear in mind that I had a loaded luxury model GS350. Like yours, It wasn't the top of the line model either lol.

The truth doesn't hurt me. You shouldn't let it hurt you either.

Nothing to be hurt or distressed about over here because my assessments were correct from the start!

Who cares what others think is better. Quality is all about the customers expectations of the product. If you are happy with your product, you have the top model!

Having said that my GS is of course the absolute top of the range. She puts all other GS to shame Lexus HQ still has her picture set as THE example of the height of Lean Six Sigma (TPS).

Okay, I am done now
