I wasn't aware I needed any until I was finished with the install. They were terrific brakes for the first 100 miles then the squeal came into play. Can you recommend any places to apply the grease other than the back of the pads BC?

There is no less than a gazillion videos and articles on the Internet about how and where to apply brake grease when replacing brake pads.

I have the same pads with the 2 pc factory rotors. I had the rotors resurfaced then I installed the Akebono's with anti squeal lube. The brakes didn't squeal
at all for the first 2 months. Now that they're broken in, they only squeal when they are cold and only only when you first step on the brakes. They're
pretty quiet all the time even in gridlock stop and go traffic.

I have the OEM 2pc F-sport rotors and the Akebono brake pads along with the "3M 08945 Copper Anti Seize Brake Lube". I don't get much squeal unless it's a heavy down-hill braking or sometimes when coming to a full stop from ~5mph. Hard braking has no noise but I do notice that when I have my AC on, it does squeal when coming to a full stop. Somewhat annoying but not as bad as other people have it.

check out oldwineguy’s in the build section.

I put on Akebono on OEM rotors, but I have a non-Fsport, I *really* hope I avoid this. Not quite to 200 miles on new pads, but it's only been a week.

This is not the correct product for brakes. Anti-seize is for fasteners not brakes, the grease is only a carrier for the metal particles the grease will dry out when that happens it will be the same as metal on metal. You want a grease that is most resistant to washing off and drying out, I've been using Red Line 80401 CV grease the stuff is very hard to clean/wash off anything so it's perfect. Most any synthetic wheel bearing grease is also suitable.

I can no Longer stand the squeal from My Pro ACTs. Can anyone recommend a good Semi-Metallic (Front F-Sport) other than OEM?
