Anyone know if 30 PSI is the point at which the warning is supposed to come on?
Just wondering what the alarm setpoint is?

Of course there is, but the button to do it is really hard to find. It is deep under the steering column. I had to lay upside down to find it with a flashlight and even then I had to keep my finger on it when I got back up or I would lose it.

If your warning is set when your tires are at the recommended pressure they should all pop a warning at the same pressure, but if your system was reset when the tires were at different pressures then they will go off at different times. Why don't you just fill the tires to the proper pressure and reset the warning and keep an eye on them. I don't think this is a big deal, you probably SHOULD get a warning if you get that low. The fact that only one went off is an anomaly. Wait a while, the other one will go off, if you are willing to ride around with under inflated tires waiting for it.

No, if you set the desired pressure at 40 it will go off at a certain percentage of air loss. If you set it at 36 it will be less. That is why you have to reset the desired pressure when you fill your tires to any different pressure.

Hmm, sounds plausible however this is a safety device. So if I decided to reset my alarm at 30 PSI and it was in fact a differential alarm I could be running the air pressure at a very unsafe pressure with no warning.

Op. if you hit the reset switch when your tire pressure is still at 30 psi would you let us know if the alarm stays out.

Bump, this happened to me tonight. I haven't driven my car in almost a month but on a $60,000 dollar car I didn't expect this.
My tire pressure is 33lbs, reading this thread I see I need to add a few lbs.
should I have to reset the sensors or just add air?
