Default Powered Subwoofer.....

So I don't know about any of you, the Lexus system lacks bass towards the mids/highs so looking to get a smaller powered sub to add to the system. I am looking at the Infinity, Alpine, Rockfard OR Kicker. All of them are amplified already with 150-250RMS, which is enough for me.

Any one have any good reviews?

JL w6 or w7 should work. 10" in a sealed box. Give a nice tight bass line.

I had a JL before but the box is massive and too much space taken in the trunk.

It depends on which the model you get. I believe they have a line of shallow subs that take up less space.

My 2013 GS with ML package has the weakest bass ever. I sold a 2007 LS with ML and it pounded like crazy all day. This has been quite a let down, especially for the advertised wattage vs my LS. My LS said 450w while the GS says 800w. I need MORE BASS BADLY!

I felt underneath the rear deck mounted sub and it's on... It just doesn't "fill" the cabin with bass like my LS did. Maybe I'm spoiled with Klipsch THX office speakers, the Bose system in my Silverado and JBL sub in my family room? They all bring the bass quite well. Maybe there's a separate amp level adjustment?

ML has plenty of Bass. but, depends on your taste, it's relative.

That'll do the trick. Isn't the solobaric the square sub? That would sound incredible.

I'm just surprised that a $58k car with the upgraded sound system sounds worse than my Silverado Bose system.

Listen to a LS460 ML system... It's worlds apart. Everything I own has better bass... My truck, my SUV, my office and my family room.
