I haven't noticed any issues whatsoever, and I have done this swap on a few different cars

I cleaned them but didn't sand them down.

I didn't even clean mine...

It's not to late, if you did glaze your rotors with your new pads you can take them out sand scuff your rotors with a green scotchbrite pad, do the same with your pads and see if that helps...

Here u can hear the noise. I'm gonna install the OEM pads back and try this again to see if it does the same thing.

So I did all the hard braking tests in a parking garage last night, and I have no such issues. No noises and definitely brakes on a dime still. Sorry man

Do u have the AutoZone pads too?

Then guess I'm going back to OEM pads. Maybe my rotors have been coated heavily with the OEM pads and can't play with the new ceramics well. Well damn! Dusty here go again.

Yup. They've been on for almost a month. I have a daily commute of about 30 mins total. So far, so good.

Okay. Then it must be my rotors are heavily coated by the stock pads.

I think you are right....looks like your rotors were glazed from the previous pads...I would go ahead and clean them up and scuff them, hopefully your new pads aren't glazed with material off your rotors

You can use really fine steel wool or you can use fine waterproof sand paper. Add that with soap and water and you're good to go.

To remove the process should be similar or the same as the 3GS I'm assume.

Alright I switched back to my OEM pads and all is well again. So much for the dust free wheels!

The OEM pads do cover the entire disc surface unlike the aftermarket one leaves a rust ring in the middle. I feel better now that my car can stop on a dime without slipping.
