Default Rear A/C in 2014 GS 350

We live in LA and haven't been needing the A/C til recently due to the heat. When I have passengers in the rear and the A/C is set to just be body flow ( vs. body and feet), the rear blows but is noticeably weaker than the front. When I set it to both body and feet, the rear vents don't have any body flow and it is the same flow as when the rear is just set to feet. I went thru the manual and there doesn't appear to be anything incorrect (I am not in S mode) but the rear is just very weak in general with the controls on full.

Does anyone else have this "weakness" in their rear vents? Should I bring this into the dealer?

thanks.

The rear won't be blowing as strong as the front because I think it is being blown from the front blower. I don't think the rear has its own blower.

I always get the "wassup with the rear a/c??" question when I'm riding deep. This car is so similar to the IS in so many ways.

This is basically a coupe with rear doors for those few times you really need the rear space. Like Lexus said "the GS is a car for when our Lexus IS customers have kids" lol. Now that comment might have thrown you guys off a bit like wtf is this idiot talking about" but there are tons of reasons why I feel that way. Rear leg room, no middle seat ( if you've ever sat in middle for more than 1 min you know what I'm talking about), and weak rear AC to name a few.

When compared to a far inferior car, people used to fall asleep within minutes in my old maxima (overgrown Beatle :/ ), rear seat def feels like an afterthought.

Still in my opinion a very small complaint for a great car ,don't carry much people in the rear often.

I don't even fit in the middle seat without messing up my hair and I'm only 5,7. I always tell people that this car is only a 4 seater.

I feel that the overall dimension of this car is the same as my old Camry, the fitment in my tiny garage shows the same too cause I'm having the same difficulty getting in and out but the interior is much smaller than the Camry. The Camry has a much bigger dashboard and trunk and the GS has smaller dash and trunk but why is the interior smaller? lol Does the drive shaft really make the interior smaller?

Look at that leg room.

thanks for the replies. actually, have to admit, the complaint was from my teenagers who don't like riding in the rear but we had a family outing and it was hot this weekend. so, your comments are appreciated. and, the s mode is off. eventually, i aimed the front center vents towards the rear and they actually blow pretty hard and cool off the entire car.
