Default Used 2013 F Sport Pricing

In the market for a used 2013 F-Sport. Here are the details. Dealer asking $35,000.

2013 GS F-Sport w/ 47,000 miles.
Certified Pre-owned 3 years/1000k miles
Blind sport monitoring
Mark Levinson
Parking assist
Navigation

Thinking about going in and dealing today. Do you think I can get $33500?

I know mileage is kind of high but its a Lexus w/ CPO.

Thanks!!! let me know your thoughts

BB CPO pricing is 37k to 40k with the higher mileage. So, they are already on the low side. It really depends on the dealer. You just have to stand firm. Let us know which dealer and if you get the deal

CPO commands a premium price over a comparable used vehicle. But yes, it depends on the dealer and what you're willing to spend. If you have a magic number you won't budge from and the dealer has the car sitting on the lot for awhile, you may have some leverage. Also, show them that you're "not too interested but are willing to settle if you're getting a deal" or "willing to help them get this car off their hands". To be honest, there are other similar cars on the market with similar deals, this isn't the only game in town. Fight for a deal and don't be afraid to walk away if they won't work with you.

Good luck.

Definitely could negotiate at least 1K down with that kind of mileage. What was the MSRP of the car? I am in the market myself for a 2013 F sport one. I read a lot of people commenting on how they bought the regular GS 350 and now kind of wish they have gotten it with F sports package. I wonder what are the biggest reasons for choosing an F sport package.

I went to my local dealership and only saw 1 GS 2013 F sport. I changed my mind, it was a sunny day, car had a black exterior and I could see that the car needed to be vaxed as you could see that the 1st owner definitely did not use a brush less car wash. I decided not to check out the car at all because I saw that it had black custom taillight colors put on them.

$35k for the options is already on the low end as another poster mentioned. I think there is room for another 500 - 1000 off that price esp. if the car has been sitting on their lot for a bit. 47K miles is a little on the high side, but I bought a '13 CPO Premium w/44k miles with BSM, Cold Weather Pkg, Illuminated Sills, Dealer Installed Remote Start and Tint all in with tax/registration for just over $34k. The F-Sport commands a bit more $$$ but negotiate hard.

I would recommend doing a quick check on standard wear and tear items like the tires, brakes and rotors - if any of these need to be replaced soon, they are another point that you use to negotiate down. Unfortunately, I learned recently that my tires and rear rotors may need to be replaced soon and I didn't pay enough attn. when I was buying the car to complain about these.

Just to add. I don't know exactly what that 160 point inspection is. They say that rotor width, brake pad amount and tires should have like 50 percent depth left? From the readings that I have done, that CPO warranty could cost on average 3K more. How many hours are spent CPO'ing one car? I personally know a Ford manager here in NY, and he is telling me that it is all bs with a CPO, they often perform CPO when you call and you come, on the spot check, no longer then 30 minutes. My friend told me not to believe much into that CPO because they most likely did not open up the hood and if they did, it was quick scan. Just wanted to let you know my thoughts.

Many of us, customers, don't really know how to check all the things to make sure that everything is proper. I guess we too just take a little risk cause calling in an independent or private inspector is too problematic if the car is located in a different state.

34990-$250! That's all they could do. Ended up picking it up. New tires new brakes. It was in pretty good condition.

Ok, 250 off, is it 3 year, 100K M CPO included? Congrats, looking at your 1st post, looks like it is pretty loaded. Do you have a heads up display on it too? post some pics when you get a chance.

Waxing doesn't remove swirl marks....machine polishing to do a full paint correction is needed....

I suspect they would do it for you if you were really interested in the car

34,730 with 46k miles fully loaded, 3 year 100k CPO included. ALSO got 0% financing for 60 months =) Kinda thought the mileage was on the higher side but it's a Lexus and with CPO
