Default What I need when buying rims?

Hi everyone,

I just purchased 20inch rims for my 2013 GS 350 AWD. They are 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the back. Center bore is 73.1mm and Hub centering rings are included. Offset is 35mm front and 45mm rear. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3.

-help buying tires. What size and brand
- help with dropping the car but still have a comfortable ride or shouldn't drop it at all. I drive long distances on the weekends, two hour drives going about 80mph
- do I need to get new tpms sensors?
Thanks everyone!!

Sorry I'm of no help but I would like to see pictures once you get everything figured out. Good luck!

U won't need a new TPMS, just transfer them from the stock wheels. Unless the new wheels aren't compatible with TPMS then ur gonna have a problem. But I doubt it.

When getting ur tires make sure the overall diameter is the same as the stock tires or ur speedo will be off. Don't get bigger tires to reduce the wheel gap.

I found the stock height of the GS to be very convenience. I can go over driveways and dips like a boss.

If you intend to use your old set of OEM wheels as well, then best leave the old TPMS in the old wheels, and buy a new set of TPMS for your new set of wheels from Lexus.
They look something like this; attached to the inside of the valves.
They are often wireless, and single use with sealed in coin batteries.

Aftermarket TPMS can have a rather messy hand held, or dashboard mounted receiver and display.

When you switch to aftermarket rims, are you guys carrying-over your genuine Lexus TPMS's?

Furthermore, do the genuine Lexus TPMS's fit in your aftermarket rims?

I heard that a set of four genuine Lexus TPMS's can set you back nearly $1k!

What's more, the genuine Lexus TPMS's won't fit into "all" aftermarket rims...
