Almost at 40K, thinking of changing the rotors.

If i had to choose, because of sites like HouseOfLexus.com, MyLParts.com, and Carson Toyota parts online, i'd try to find the lowest price from dealers around the country and get OEM rotors.
Centric would be my recommendation for quality aftermarket rotors. My uncle has his own mechanic shop and stands by Centric rotors since he has installed them on many cars with customers being very satisfied.

Because carcinogenic asbestos brake pads are now banned, we end up using semi-metallic pads which actually wear out the rotors faster.
I'm too lazy, but if you read the Lexus Workshop Manual, there is a recommended thickness for the rotors of something like 30 +/-1 mm or something like that.
Thus we can only machine the rotors so much, until we must actually replace them.
Rotors that are too thin can warp with heat build up.
