They only squeal as front brake dust built up, and it wasn't removed with high air pressure, or washing.
Notice how the front wheels gradually turned black, if not washed regularly?

I have changed both front rotors, front pads, and both front shims, all OEM parts, and at first the squeal goes away, but after a month or so, the brake dust builds up, and the squeal is back.

The secret is to clean the front wheel & brake assembly thoroughly & regularly, and be prepared to actually remove the front wheels with a cordless impact wrench [for speed & convenience] when necessary to do a more thorough removal of all brake dust.

Guess what I'll save some money on gym membership by doing cleaning the GS wheels.

Thanks for the tips Pete.

This is what I use.
Another forum member says he uses high water pressure gun, and his brakes never squeal.

Without the right tools, eg using the emergency flat tire kit under the boot - removing the front wheels is a chore...

'15 F sport, few weeks old, when I lightly take my foot of brakes, a high pitched noise occurs. My service manager said this is normal for the F sport. I asked about a TSB, none for my car for the brakes. I had a '13 non-F and no noise like this ever occurred. I know the F sport is different.

What is everyone's take here? Take it to another dealer, or is this true?

Get a second opinion from another dealer.

I took delivery 2 weeks ago with 20 miles. The brakes were vibrating and loud and I took it in. They said they resurfaced the rotors. What are the reasons for a car with 200 miles needs resurfacing? If a car sits in a dealer lot for 5-6 months, would the rust cause this?

Very good; it could be the rusting...

Did you clean and lubricate the caliper slides and any metal contact points? We have the same issues with GM products and new pads and rotors won't fix the problem but the other will. Just a thought. It's said that the noise is actually caused by the caliper slides chattering when coming to a stop due to lack of lubrication.
