When's the last time you checked or changed your Air Filter?
I recently got a CPO 2013 GS 350 from a Lexus Dealership and decided to check a few things on the car including the air filter. I was very surprised that the air filter was not changed, in fact it looks like the original air filter since 2013. My GS has 43k, so I would figure it would have been changed seeing that is a Certified Lexus. The air filter had tons of dirt in it along with some bugs and other debris. I called the Dealership and they said that they would change it or would be willing to send me the part because I live almost an hour away. I mean it only takes about 2 minutes to change it out.

I only have 13K miles on mine, I'll check both cabin and engine air filters at 20K.

I took my engine filter out today out of curiosity and surprisingly it's still clean, even at 13K+ miles! It's like new! The air in my area must be really clean.
And yes I flipped them and inspected both side and not a single dirt and leaf anywhere.

Do you just buy the filters from the dealership or can I just go to my local pepboys or autozone and those will do just fine? Just wondering cause looking for the best bang for your buck. I'm assuming the cabin air filter doesn't really matter.

I bought k&n filter when I got the car and just did my 10k service and watched him change my cabin filter. I had it locked...
