GS450h vs Acura RLX Hybrid?
#16
I thought the same but for some reason all major car magazines put RLX into lower level...
Very welcome... I always tell everyone that just a test drive is not enough to get final decision if you like it or not... for me it takes minimum 3 days to test a new vehicle to say "I would love to buy or not..."
Note: I've been with Acura family for last 10 years but latest models don't make me happy as used to Last June sold my 2011 Acura TL SH-AWD 6-speed which was an awesome car in every angle, still miss it though...

I think it's correct for them to put the RLX into the lower level. They're better off competing with those. That way they seem like they do have the advantage in a number of things. The LS, S and 7.. they'd be in a whole different league if you compare them to the RLX.
Thanks for the article though. Very interesting and looks like they've improved upon the 14 and 15s, but people are still reporting issues with the infotainment system and the brakes. Also it's still an ugly designed car :/.. but the MPG is really good.. considering it has a good chunk more hp than the GSh

Not to hate, but I personally wasn't a fan of 4th Gen Acura TL at all. The exterior styling wasn't my cup of tea.
For coupes, I was super impressed with the value that the 3rd Gen Infiniti G35 (i.e. 2007 G35) provided and I believe it was a game changer for the company itself. Once again, when they decided to redesign the exterior in 2008, I started to dislike it.
I had a friend who owned one and it made me jealous because I was cruising in a Honda Civic at the time.
Depending on if I wanted a sedan or a coupe at the time, these two vehicles would have been my top choices.

I was actually a big fan of Acura, especially the 3rd Gen Acura TL Type S. Provided an amazing value for a four door sporty sedan in a league of it's own. If I had to purchase an "affordable" four door luxury/sporty coupe at the time, this would have been it.

lololol funny you should say that because when buying the car before my GSh.. those were the two that I were looking at. I wanted the TL, but it was out of my price range. People suggested the RSX, but I wasn't too fond of a good number of things about it. The 3rd gen G35s were out of my price range too (The G37s ruined the iconic look) so ended up getting a first gen G35. Slapped on a bodykit and there tah dah! Looks like a slightly more aggressive 2nd gen lol

I'll be honest, I almost pulled the trigger on a 2014 RLX with Krell package, lots of rear leg room, decent power but boring styling and looks. It seemed Honda/Acura car designers have gone to sleep the past few years.
Then the F-Sport came along...then there was nobody else.
