'13 GS wind noise, resolved

My 2013 premium version GS350 has dual pane windows even though I don't have the cold weather package. I still don't understand how Lexus decides to give some GS350's dual pane and other single pane. I also don't have any wind noise issues.

I should add, while on the subject of noise - I bought my car used and it had the original Dunlops. One tire was mismatched from the rest and had significantly more tread, I assume a replacement due to puncture or whatever. I heard what I thought was a LOT of road noise with these tires. I have since replaced with Michelin Primacy MXM4, which I have found to be much quieter and a more enjoyable ride due to quietness.

MIcheling tires are SUPER SUPER comfy and quite. I put Michelin Sport AS/3 in the rear and Super Sports int the front since the AS/3 was on back order for 2 months for the fronts. Boy I tell you they are super nice. Hefty price even at wholesale cost since I have a shop but well worth it.

I'm pretty sure the double pane windows are part of the cold weather package... So if you have heated front seats and heated steering wheel then you should have the double pane windows as well. And yes you can tell the difference in wind noise with out them...i just got a 13 gs f sport and I noticed the difference when I test drive a few different options
