Default 2014 GS and cross traffic alert

When i try to build a '15 i can add BSM but no mention of Cross Atraffic Alert, no option either. I know it is not available on the RX. Have not seen it listed until today on a '14 GS and i thought it was a typo. Did a search on google that indicates BSM has Cross Traffic Alert. For those with BSM, can you confirm this. Thanks, nothing came up in a search here.

I can confirm the BSM works as the cross traffic alert on my 15 GS.
Not sure about 14 GS.

Thank you. For me if the price is right it may now be worth moving to the '15. I wonder when the '16 will be out and when some nice deals on a '15 will begin. If list is $55k i wonder if i can expect to see 50k OTD , plus taxes. That i can do.

My 2014 has BSM and RCTA. They are usually in one package. If u get BSM then u get RCTA. 2015 Options may be different.

For those on the fence about a 15 GS jump on it now, 4500 purchase incentive in effect

Right now is the best time for a 15 GS. We will be seeing 16 GS mid/NOV beginning DEC.

In order to have RCTA, you need to have both BSM and Park Assist (parking sensors for front and back) on a 2014+ GS.

I just got pricing. $9500 off for. 5,000 mile demo, $7500 off with no miles. Have yo take a loan to get the $4500 off, was not going to but will and pay it early. Will decide tomortow

Good timing for me, that I waited, almost bought a '16 ES but the seats and my back did not bond. Tomorrow for the test drive but I have driven the GS and I love the seats, so I believe it will be a formality for the most part. Will pay attention to wind noise but I believe here in the NE with AWD all side windows are double pane which really should address any noise.

I wonder why they did that. Lexus sometimes pairs things together in very odd ways.

My '14 IS has BSM and RCTA. It's a great system and I highly recommend it.
