I find it amusing that you're going to argue with me without actually validating anything you say or using facts to dispute me, just like you did in the LS430 thread, then you present that a Genesis is between a GS and an LS. You are a master of red herring arguments and going out of your way to try to assert why your subjectivity is superior to someone else's. At least use facts if you're going to use your tu quoque tactics, that way it's less obvious what you're doing.
All you have to do to understand the differences is drive the cars. A Genesis fits in between a GS and an LS (have you owned both the current GS and current LS? I think I would know) because of the sort of car that it is. Size wise it fits in that space, as does the Q70, but more importantly the personality and dynamics of the car fit into that gap. Its a ride biased car like the LS, but its sharper and crisper than the LS, more like the GS. The Q70 is nothing like the LS, its purely a car thats targeted at the same demographic as the GS.
The only validation I need is the first hand experience of having owned many of and having driven all of the vehicles that we're discussing recently comparing them specifically to one another. Nobody who has driven a GS, LS and a Q70 would say the Q70 fits in "between the GS and LS". Figures and measurements and other "facts" are the tools of someone who argues about things they haven't actually physically experienced.
As for this "LS430 thread" I have no idea what you're talking about. Clearly whatever exchange we had there left more of an impression on you than it did on me.

Nothing like a good argument.
thanks again for the input. I had a chance to test drive a GS. The F sport was sold, but they had a loaded non F that I took out.
I hate to say it, but I didn't feel like the car had a lot of character. Not in a bad way per se, but sort of why people love Alpha's even though they are pieces of crap.
It drove fine, looked fine, sounded fine, everything fine. I mean I could just drive it around all day and be....fine.
Sport+ didn't seem to make as big of a difference as I thought, Maybe because it was a non F?
There was nothing I didn't like about it. Maybe the rear visibility but I'd have to spend more time in one to be comfortable.
So don't take it personally, I just didn't leave the dealership thinking "I need this car"
Like I said though, I wouldn't be unhappy driving one either.
I think I need to drive a few different things back to back on the same day to see if I can clear this up.
Who knows, maybe a "I just bought a GS " may be my next post.
PS> My m35 is bigger than the GS, from feel alone..by a lot.

Was the car you drove a Premium or Luxury package? Did it have a wood/leather steering wheel?
Makes a big difference. I drove several Premium cars and found them unremarkable, IMHO this car needs the Luxury or F Sport package.
