Downsizing wheels?

Downsizing wheels?
i currently have 19s on my F sport but I'm thinking about downsizing to an 18 so that I can get all winter tires.
Has anyone else does this? What wheels did you go with?

I just did this, with the exception that I went with all season tires though (not winter tires). Got 18x8 40mm offset Enkai Raijin tires (21 pounds, relatively light). For tires got 235/45R18 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus. My goal was comfort but also something that looked good (and slightly better offset, with this combination, the wheels are moved out 5mm in front, and about 7mm in back, 19" F-sport OEM wheels/tires).

I got Enkei GTC01 18"x8" 5x4.5" P40 offset in hyperblack [a dark silver].

The thin spokes match the thin chrome trim around the grill and the windows.
Five split spokes may look too sporty for some, while seven split spokes or more, may look too luxurious and busy for others.
Pairing the spokes simplifies the look.
Enkei presently supplies Mercedes in F1 racing.

Here's what the wheels look like on my car:
It was about $210 per wheel, I think maybe $170 per tire? Only a little more than replacing the 19" OEM tires. Definitely less grippy, but much more comfortable than OEM 19" tires. I may try something grippier for my next set of tires.
