I paid $1,400 for the full hood and fenders/headlights/full bumper/mirrors on my LS.
Even at $2k for that LX, $2k is a small price to pay to keep the front end of a $100k truck pristine IMHO.

Thats cheap. Why would you just do the bumper?
Its the kind of thing you want to do right, or not at all.

My dealer wanted $799 for the front bumper, 2ft strip on the hood, and mirrors. A shop not related to the dealership quoted me $599 for the bumper, full hood, fenders and mirrors. I scheduled an appointment with the shop but had to cancel since the dealership had to replace/repaint my front bumper and for my inconvenience threw in clear bra on the bumper, 2ft strip on the hood and fenders, and the mirrors for free.
I would highly suggest doing the whole hood and fenders instead of the strip because dirt collects on the seam and is very noticeable. I'm thinking about having the shop redo the hood and fenders, and the rear bumper where debris kicks up from the tires.
