@Kane007 a 245/40 tire on a 19" wheel will fit the GS without an issue. This question comes up quite a bit on the forum but obviously folks aren't typically keeping up with the myriad of threads that are started with similar questions - definitely search the forum for answers. I even saw your post from a few year back which no one answered (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post9181453)

To save you time, many members here upsize from 235/40 tires to 245/40 tires simply because they can't get 4 tires in the 235 size in the same manufacturer. See this thread (posts #12 and #14) for members running Vertini and Niche wheels 19x8.5 all around on 245/40 tires:

Post some pics when you get your new wheels!

245/35/20 and 285/30/20 fit mine, but I got my rears rolled to be safe.

I'm sorta in the same boat as Kane007. I recently bought a set of used Velgen VMB5 19s for my AWD GS 350 and was what tires I should run with 19x9 +35 ET Front and 19x10.5 +45 for the rears. I was eyeing the Continental DWS A/S tires as well. Thoughts?

The car is not lowered and I do not plan to lower it in the near future as well.

Continental makes a great tire. Continential, Michelin and Pirelli are the most popular tires for the GS when folks replace from the OE Dunlop and Bridgestones.

Everyone speaks highly of the Continentals and you absolutely can't go wrong if you get them on sale in the sizes you want: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...06-tested.html

I have a 245/35/20 on the front of my 2016 base. Under hard braking and cornering, it will touch the fender liner with stock suspension.

Thanks for the link ! I will probably go with these sizes since it will be a much more comfortable ride than 245/35/19 and 285/30/19.

If you like the comfort and ride quality of your car now, don't go to 19's stick with 18's. Also 19's are more prone to getting bent from potholes because there is less rubber on the tire to absorb the impact. You could also get a slightly lower offset from stock to get a more flush fit.

Too late, I already bought the 19 inch wheels. Some comfort and ride quality was a concern which is why I went with 19 inch and not 20 inch because of ****ty NJ roads as well. Now just wondering if I should run 245/35/19 and 285/30/19 or 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 with no rubbing issues. It looks like the latter would not have an issue as well.
