My wife has a 2013 GS350.....when she backs out of the driveway, turning at a slight angle...there is a loud pop that sounds like it is coming from the rear. The noise does not repeat during normal driving or going over bumps...just when backing out at an angle to the left. Dealer could not repeat the noise.
Almost sounds like the strut brace/bar is loose or something along those lines. Any thoughts?? Thanks!!!

Sure it's not coming from the roof?
Some early-built 2013 GS 350 models had a problem with the sunroof panel making a pop or snap type noise, especially when entering or exiting driveways that cause a momentary body flex.
Roof Panel Pop Noise
Check the production change effective VIN numbers.

Can't tell exactly where it is coming from...I'll have to listen for that next time. But her VIN does fall before the 'production' change #. Thank you very much!!!!
