bought a 2013 GS350 Luxury Package - Hate

This isn't always an option, but if I'm interested in a particular car I see if the dealership has a loaner in that model while my car is in for service. I was interested in an IS when it first came out, so I drove one as a loaner car and knew it wasn't for me.
I've been thinking of moving back into a sedan, so I got an A6 loaner with all the bells and whistles to see how I liked it. Everyone in the Audi forums says the Bose system sucks. I didn't find it bad at all. What I did find bad were the seats, because they are short and don't give me enough thigh support. I would have to order one with sport seats. For me, really comfortable seats have both bolstering and thigh extension. I also learned that even with all the new technology and new interior design in the A6 I was glad to get my S5 back.

Love the Flaxen photo-chop and Mr. Bean!
Regarding the Infotainment setup in the GS....I would agree there are better systems out there and it does take some getting used to. Other (even older cars) have better voice command. But it'll grow on you as you use the "mouse" while driving and get to know your way around the menu's.

First of all, that mouse is adjustable. At first, it's too loose and difficult to point, but very adjustable. Secondly, my seats in my 2015 F Sport are the best seats I've ever had in a car. And, I've driven multiple trips from Austin to Tulsa, which is an 8-9 hour drive. Sorry you hate the seats, but someone will love them, I'm sure.

Figured it out, Its not the seats. Its the damn big floor hump from the awwd transmission that takes up 1/3 area in front gas peddle. What was happening was becaue of hump for me to hit gas paddle I had to sit to left and pronate my foot outward cant be straight up and down on gas pedale and its causing leg pain knee pain radiating up my leg to lower back.
So not the seats, but really the gs 2013 and nwere is only car i have seen with that hump taking up that much space not allowing proper foot placement.
SO traded in for little older LS460 that doenst have that big floor hump and wide high center console taking up leg room.
I really hope Lexus eventually changes that floor hump and makes that center console narrower or curve in a little like on the Infinitis'
Just sucks trying to get over new nice interior look of the new GS to an older LS.

It must be a 2013 up LS ? The older ones don't have it. It interfere with the postion of my foot angle and ankle so I need twist foot towards right just to drive then makes the leg hurt which think causing chain reaction of lower back pain cause hips end up being little twisted. I had couple people sit in car drive it. There a little shorter then me and women they complain it hurt thief calf since it was higher up. I'm taller than them so it's my ankle and foot that rotates.

This is the layout of an AWD 2012 LS....see the cutout of the mat for the hump?:
This is the layout of a RWD 2012 LS...no hump:
This is the footwell of an AWD 2013 GS....see the cutout for the hump?:
I put 40,000 miles on my GS and experienced none of your issues...

Oh I know what' you're talking about with that floor hump. I noticed it on an AWD IS350 I drove the other day, really a horrible design flaw. I just could not get my foot in a comfortable position on the gas pedal. Maybe I'd get used to it after a while, but IMO the best thing would be to buy a RWD car without that hump(it doesn't snow much around here, except for the 6+ inches on the ground today lol)

It was more pronounced in my IS but the only time I bumped or noticed it was on my test drive, then never again. I've never bumped or noticed it on my GS but perhaps my long legs come in to play here.

I recently bought a 13 GS w/ lux package and spent about a month comparing options and competitors. Had my heart set on a 3.0T A6, but was underwhelmed after the test drive. The GS ticked off all the boxes that were important to me and one of the biggest differences was the much better seats of the GS w/lux compared to any A6.
