Default Just bought CPO GS 350 Fsport

Hello

I just bought a 2013 CPO GS350 F-Sport/19k mile. I will upload my car photo tonite. Anyway....I have a question who bought CPO cars. My sale man is telling me that although my car is CPO, it doesn't come with COMPLIMENTARY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM and 3yrs 100,00 warranty.

I looked at the contract and there is field for warranty info which states N/A.

I thought all the L certified Lexus comes with all those benefits?

Anyone had this problem.

Thank you.

Are you sure it is Lexus CPO? Because I have never seen a CPO vehicle without the 3yr, 100K warranty. I believe it is on all the advertisements, etc. from Lexus that your are assured of the value of the CPO by having this. But I may be wrong.

Do you mind letting us know where you bought it from and for how much?

If you bought your car from a Lexus dealership, the 3 year/100k mile warranty and 3 complimentary maintenance comes standard. If you didn't, well I don't know what to tell you.

I believe Lexus recently changed the warranty on its CPO program. The 3 year/100k is no longer.

Warranty is valid for a minimum of two years/unlimited mileage after the expiration of 4-year/50,000 mile new-vehicle Basic Warranty, or two years from your L/Certified purchase or lease date, whichever occurs later. Mileage is unlimited.

When did that change? So it looks like they reduced the CPO warranty by 1 year but increased the mileage to unlimited and added in extra free service work.

I assume those of us who bought before the change are grandfathered into the old plan.

There was a thread about it recently. I believe it was January 1st of this year. It would only affect those who bought on or after 1/1/16 (assuming I have the date correct).

Note that 2 years/20k miles (four services) of service is included. I don't know if that is a change or not.

Well, my warranty sticker for used cars (the one they stick in the side window in California) is stamped saying it is a CPO car covered under Lexus CPO warranty......

Another thing I got with CPO specified on it was the detail sheet showing the CPO checklist with all notes and what services/replacement work was performed to bring the vehicle to CPO status including dealer costs for parts and labor.

Typically you can get the certification paperwork which is like a "certificate" that indicates the car is certified and has the extended warranty.

See this thread for more information/discussion on the latest regarding L certified cars: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-vs-new-2.html

While we're on the topic, how often do CPO F-Sports show up? I got the impression that they are hard to
find.

Although much more rare that the regular GS350, they are not too hard to find in the color you want (in Socal) if you call around to all the local Lexus dealerships.

You can just call the service department of any Lexus dealer and ask them. They will confirm the CPO warranty and give you an exact end date. I just purchased a CPO GS last week and the CPO plan is the remainder of time on the new car warranty + 2 years of the same bumper to bumper with unilimited mileage. Depending on the in-service date of the car you could have between 2.5 years and 4 years of coverage. Just call the service dept and they'll tell you in a second.

CPO GS 350 F sports are seemingly rare in the northeast but you can find them if you're willing to widen out your search area...or ask your dealer to potentially bring one in for you (a RWD f-sport is impossible to find here in the Northeast!):
