sorry if I revive this thread but I got a question, when you buy the oem stalk with the foglight on/off is the connector going to be called N28 too? since the one u taking out is N28.

Yes, the connector will still be the N28. Only difference is the added extra wiring for the on/off switch.

alright thanks, one more question my coworker say when taking the steering wheel out it wont be aligned is that correct it will off by a few teeth?

take the steering wheel off straightened out and you'll know when you install it back on.... install it straightened

on the first post it say we ned 2x n28 why do we ned n28 when the new stalk come with it?

the stalk will have two extra pins. the n28 connector will be missing those wires. the two wires are to be plugged into the n28. one will become the ground and the other goes into the main computer.

PK, i see you tapped the fuse box to power the fogs. Is there anywhere else in the engine bay where power could have been tapped? I'm trying to trace my fog light install as they are not getting any power. The indicator on the instrument panel illuminates though..

on the relay integration box pin 15 did u use a separate wire to connect it to the main ecu pin 13? or the wires already there?

I paid someone to install it and when I mentioned it didn't work after a few weeks they disappeared. Now I'm trying to trace where the fogs are receiving power before dismantling the front of my car trying to find it. I'm trying to figure out if the fogs are powered via a tap within the engine bay or in the driver footwell.

All the pins are there for us to tap into but the wires aren't there. If you can take some pictures of your setup I might be able to help.
