Music using app selection in 2013 GS
So I have a strange problem that has recently happened. When I listen to music on 'slacker' radio or 'I heart radio' through the vehicle apps.
All I hear is a high pitched tone that changes the pitch of the tone every 10-15 seconds and the music never comes on. It used to work without issue but now that is all I get.
When I listen to Pandora, it still works fine with no problems. Music comes through using the car app and it is fine.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the fix?

Try playing Slacker or iHeart simply by selecting BT and controlling the music on the
phone. All the LAS does is transfer control to the Nav screen, program material is
coming across the BT. Does the phone play those sources OK through its built in
speakers?
Have you taught the Lexus App Suite about your Slacker & iHeart accounts by opening
the small sprocket icon on the lower right and entering your e-mail & password?

Really strange. The software in the car seems a bit buggy or the processor seems a bit underpowered since things get hung once in a while either requiring me to shut off the audio and turning it back on again or waiting for 10-20 or so seconds for certain functions to execute.
That happens once in a while and not all the time.
The strangest was when I was backing up and then put the car in drive and started driving forward, the rear view camera continued to display behind the car for about 10 seconds before it went to the map screen.

Try deleting the entire Lexus Enform App Suite and playing the music through
Media / BT. If it plays properly then reload LEAS and reenter your e-mail/password
Your back up camera observation reminded me that it would actually be nice to
be able to choose that long a duration. During 3 point maneuvers it is annoying
to have the screen flashing back and forth to the map I don't need while backing!
