Help! Front brakes Squeaking a lot
My 2013 gs350 f sport sounds like a school bus! i already replace the front pads with a new set of oem pads n had them resurface the disk too. after a couple of hours the noise came back! seems like my lexus dealer can't solve my issue. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do next or maybe getting after market pads that will solve my embarrasing issue.??????

I have the same issue with my too,
Lexus came out with new pads for
This issue on there bulletin board.
They replaced new pad and resurfaced the rotors for me but still have squeaks.
Something you have to live with I guess.

see if u can get Akebono pads ACT 1118 , and just swap the pads on it and that should solve ur problem and they are very good pads and no brake dust also, good luck.

Yup.. Same here.. I've had this problem since day one.
The new lexus pads didn't help with the noise at all.
I also tried some Akebono ceramic pads.. They worked for a few hundred miles but the noise came back.
I'm now convinced that Lexus F-sport brakes are crap and opted for a BBK.
You can try the Akebono route, just make sure the rotors are new or resurfaced.
If you have the funds, just fork it over and get a BBK. It may save you a lot of headache.

Remove your front wheels & wash the inside of the front wheels & the calipers thoroughly with detergent.
Thereafter, wash the front wheels & brake assembly thoroughly every month if you're a cruiser like me.
If you're a hard driver, it may be necessary to wash the front wheel & brake assembly every fortnight.
It is the brake dust buildup that causes the squealing.
I have spent $1k replacing with OEM rotors, pads & shims, yet the squeal will come back once the dust re-builds...

Whatever pads you get, make sure they're ceramic.
I opted for a set of Alcon Big Brake Kit. Stoptech also makes a very nice BBK as well.
My car used to turn heads... Now my squealing brakes do... lol

There are no aftermarket rotors available to replace the 2 piece F-sport rotors. You'll have to go oem.
