Default Model Year 13 vs 14

Greetings all!

I am in the market for a sport sedan and decided on getting a GS350 (after also test driving A6, 535i, E350). My target is a CPO MY 2013 or 2014. After going through some posts here it looks like both those years are pretty much the same except for night vision going away in 2014 and Siri eyes-free being introduced for 2014. Please let me know if I am missing something important.

Thanks for your time!

2014 Luxury version also has 19" 5x split spoke silver alloy wheels.
Thanks! The 8 speed auto is important.

Thanks! I assume you mean power side mirrors. Are standard or a part of a package?

Note the 8 speed is RWD only. AWD still uses 6 speed.

He means mirrors that fold themselves in automatically via switch or when you lock the doors. I believe they come with blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert.

Blind spot monitor is standard, but I think the rear cross traffic alert didn't make it till 2015?

My 15 has RCTA with BSM but BSM with the folding mirrors was not standard. Can't speak to the 13s and 14s for how they were packaged, I just assumed it was the same.

I have a 14 GS here and yes it has rear cross traffic alert. The 14 also has Auto mode for the heated and cool seat so you can set a seat temp and keep it there or set it to automatic to decrease temp over time based on cabin temp settings. And the 14 has the powered trunk open and close feature.

My 14 has power folding mirrors and blind spot monitoring and RCTA, only thing it doesn't have is remote start.

I have a 2013 with factory remote start. It was a $500 option. Does not require enform subscription.

Wish it had RCTA and power trunk. Can a 2014 power trunk assembly be retrofitted into a 2013?

Many, myself included, prefer the 6-speed transmission in the '13 models.

the 14's don't require enform either. It's 15 and up from my understanding.
Power Trunk would have been nice as well.
