I just bought a CPO 13 F Sport with 22k miles here in Houston and my out the door was not much more. Have all those options plus more. Not saying it is a bad price but I think you can work it down more esp if the interior color is light gray which I would think isnt as desirable as black?

Thanks for sharing!

I agree that light gray is more of a mellow color (and also hard to keep clean?) for a sports sedan.

I got a 2013 F sport with 18K miles, nebula/cabernet with all the normal goodies (BSM, IPA, etc.), remote start, and a few other things for a bit more out the door than what you see that car going for so I think you can work them down some more due to the mileage. Again, it is really dependent on your market as well.

Yea I think CA has a lot more F-Sport options as the prices I was finding there blew anything local out of the water here in TX. I actually considered a fly and drive purchase. How is that remote start? Kills motor when door opens correct? Didnt know it was an option on 2013.

Wow! You guys have much better deals out there. Even Houston and Dallas aren't too bad. I will have to reconsider this one if it is their final price.

BTW ... I am curious what you and ricam78 think would be a good price for this car. Right now it is 34,500 sale and 36,900 OTD.

I haven't bought a car in a very long time so asking ... are KBB and NADA still a good reference? Most CPO sale prices seem to beat them both

Thanks!

Keep in mind that the luxury package has quite a few options not available on the F Sport, so he's looking at a very well optioned car. The luxury package has things like semi-analine leather, upgraded wood trim, 18 way front memory seats (driver and pass), rear seat climate/radio controls and rear heated seats, and side window sun shades.

Good points, so I guess what we should be asking is are those options important to you nGS?

Within the GS, I am more inclined towards luxury options over sport ones.

Definitely. Keep it within a couple hours if you want. Use autotrader or cars.com and just set radius and ensure you select certified only.

I would definitely knock them down to 34k OTD if not less (again depends on market and how long the car has been sitting at the dealership). I have a Riviera Red on Black Leather CPO 2013 GS350 w/ Luxury Package that includes all the items you listed as well as rear heated seats and the (seemingly) rare ML Premium Audio. Got it on New Years Eve 2015 for 31k plus my trade-in ($2k) out the door. Considering we are now 2 months into 2016, I'd tell them no more than 34k out the door. If you aren't in a rush and don't need to have that exact car, I'd wait it out or shop elsewhere. My local dealer didn't want to play ball and wouldn't even match their Luxury Package car that had less options and more mileage (not even a base version they had either), so sometimes you have to drive out farther for the best deal.
