Bought - paid cash in full as well - title in hand. Same with my Tundra we just bought and my wife’s Pathfinder.
I’ve never paid rent to anyone in my entire life (bought first house at 21) and can’t stand the thought of throwing money at something I won’t ever own.
We have 2 mortgages, one on our main residence, and one on our rental that someone else is paying off + $500 extra profit a month that goes to our mortgage.
Other than that no other monies borrowed.

same here, got it at 19k, L certified for cheaper than a local dealer's 34k mileage crafted GS.
i have a honda i still drive , nearly 300k, runs like a top. i expect the lexus to last the same if not longer, and be a lot more fun

Those of you who regret leasing, why did you regret it? Was it because of money?
I bought new, paid in full. 5+ years now, pondering a new car after 6.

My GS is the first lease I've had that I am starting to regret. I am regretting it for one reason alone. I am nearing the end of my 3 year lease and am in no way ready to part with the car. I can obviously buy it out but it means I'll have to buy it out at more than it's worth, but I am actually considering it. I just love this car.

1) After 3 years of paying $650+, I would have had to pay another $500+ for an additional 5 years. Not ideal.
2) Because of available incentives, I had to choose a 200T instead of a 350. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen a 350.
3) Because of mileage limits on the lease, I found I could not thoroughly enjoy the car. I had to keep my miles in mind at all times.
4) Although the F-Sport was a much more performance oriented ride, I did not like the front to back offset in size. The costs for tires, and the halved warranty was a negative in my opinion.

I regret leasing for several reasons, almost all related to money. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have purchased a quality CPO car.

Interesting. I was pondering leasing my next car. I don't drive much so mileage isn't an issue for me. I like my 2013 GS350, but I can't say I'm in love with it. Not in a hurry to get rid of my car either but there is maybe something new that peaks my interest.
