Thanks Bj(CA)! A follow up question - I'm trying to hardwire my dashcam to the passenger side fusebox - I will be using a couple of add-a-fuse type connectors. I see the fuses, but can't find a nut/screw for ground - will I need to remove the glovebox trim to get to the ground connector? Or is there an easier way?

yup I also did the add a circuit, its 1000 times easier to remove the plastic trim under the glove, which just snaps off. I used a random bolt near the fuse box, I found a diy post for valentine one hardwire on this 4gs forum, lemme find it.

Does anybody know which fuse to tap if I want the device always on even when car is off and parked overnight?

The fuse shown in the pictures show the fuse that will turn off when car is off.
