Default Rimblades anyone?

Has anyone heard of Rimblades? They seem like a good idea to protect the wheels from curbs but I'm not sure how well they'd stay on and how effective they are.

I have seen these on a Tesla, usually on a car where thr have had curb rash the Tesla had it chewed up.I personally don't like them but if you like them buy them and see how they look.

Just FYI, if your wheel hits a curb, these wont do jack to protect your rims or tires. Gotta think about the tremendous force that is applied between the rim and cement as it grinds, even in super slow collisions.

that's what i thought, too. their webpage says it won't protect your wheels if you're going fast, it's more for minor damage when parking. that's what i'm more hoping it'll do. i know being careful when parking will make this obsolete, but sometimes brain farts happen. i've also knicked wheels before trying to get close enough to use drive thru ATM machines (t-rex arm problems lol).

I've seen wheel damage greater in thickness than these blades can cover.

Just don't let your GF parallel park it.
