Default Is there a Luxury edition GS for 2016?

Did they make the luxury version of the GS for 2016 with the wood steering wheel and trim?

There is, but it seems like it isn't available anywhere, at least not in the States. I went to two Lexus dealers in the Seattle area, and I was told that there wasn't a single one on the lot within nearly 2000 miles. Moreover, they said that it would take five to six months to order one.

Look at Lexus Houston/DFW/San Antonio/Austin web pages. Lots of GS's with lux package.Texans like their rides well optioned.

Oh, Seattle, that's why. Your probably only going to see AWD GS's there. From this board it seems like lux packages are rare on AWD models. They are common here on RWD models in Texas.

Yeah, it might've been wanting the combination of Luxury + AWD that did me in. I wonder if it's the combined price point that makes AWD and Luxury mutually exclusive on dealer lots.

Yeah I find that a shame. My luxury was AWD, there were a bunch of them at that time. I think the luxury package really makes the GS.

I completely agree as well. To me, the Luxury Package is what elevates the interior and makes the GS competitive with segment rivals.

I ended up purchasing a C300 because I couldn't wait (my previous ES was totalled in an accident).
